raising some monies - check!

While the hubs is taking a solid, much-needed nap, I would like to take a quiet moment to express our gratitude to everyone that came out last night and pitched in! It was quite fun to see everything come together and especially to see people excited about their auction & raffle items. I love how everything found the perfect-fitting home to go to!

After adding up all the profit from last night along with other recent online donations, we are at an awesome total of $5,781.16!

We plan to make a donation from that to get a Hydraid water filter installed in an orphanage from the child’s place of birth, but we are still researching what is most needed in that area. More updates on that to come.

I know there were a lot of people that couldn’t make it last night, and we have a few auction items that did not get sold, so I will be putting those up for an online auction soon! (2 pieces of jewelry, a golf bag set & an Arbornne set)

We also have MANY tshirts, thermals & jackets to sell. I need to do a count, but contact me if you’re interested in purchasing some attire.

I’m most excited with the amount of fun people seemed to have and all of the misc. mingling going on between various groups of friends. I truly hope everyone enjoyed themselves. The fact that the keg was tapped before 10pm is a decent measure of good times had by all:)
